Founded in 2007, ROSÉ is a full-service catering company. Opened by Caroline Smile, a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, France and the daughter of a prominent restauranteur from Washington DC.

We work with the best florists, musicians, tent companies and producers to assure that all facets of your event will be well-served. We are also willing to travel and have thrown parties in Washington DC, Palm Beach, FL, Asheville, NC and Miami, FL in addition to our home bases (Los Angeles, Orange County, New York and Charleston, SC.)

ROSÉ has catered food for Channing Tatum, Amanda Seyfried, Hope Davis, Lou Reed, The CEO of Ford, the President of Disney/ABC, The President of FoxNext, the Co-Chair or Imagine Films, and entertained the likes of Jay Z & Beyonce, Sean Penn, Julianne Moore, Victor Garbor, Norman Reedus, Matt Damon, Helena Christensen, Andy Cohen and bands and performers including U2, Gwen Stefani, Wyclef Jean, Velvet Revolver, REM, The B52’s, Fatboy Slim, Maxwell, Anthony Hamilton, Lance Bass, Sammy Hagar, Keith Richards and more.



Caroline Smile

With 20 years of cooking, dining, restaurant management and celebrity chef experience, Caroline’s expertise shines bright at ROSÉ. Her passion for food and your delight of every morsel has her endlessly exploring the dining scenes of the world to add it to your menu. Well traveled and with many events and parties behind her, Caroline is the consummate host guiding you to extraordinary experiences.

In addition to producing events and creating menus, Caroline helped found the Charleston Wine + Food Festival as the Program Director and Celebrity Chef Liaison for five years. At the festival she worked with François Payard, Bobby Flay, Alex Guarnaschelli, Sean Brock, Tyler Florence, Bruce Aidells, Danny Meyer, David Chang, Wylie Dufresne, Top Chef’s and many more. She was also recently the Celebrity Chef Liaison at a popular meal kit company hosting the likes of Dominique Crenn, Iron Chef Judy Joo as well as TVFN stars like Brooke Williamson and Duff Goldman.  She began her career in four and five star hotels and restaurants cooking with such chefs as Patrick O’Connell of The Inn at Little Washington, Washington, VA, Jeffrey Buben of Vidalia, Washington DC, Susan McCreight of Morrison Clark Inn, Washington DC and Peter Zimmer of Bishop’s Lodge Hotel, Santa Fe, NM.

Caroline has lived in NYC twice, the first five years she spent working in the music industry and pursued becoming a full-time Jazz singer (her other passion) where she worked at the original Knitting Factory, Matador Records and The Village Vanguard.

But that’s not all, Caroline also opened Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich’s fourth and fifth restaurants after working at their flagship Babbo. Managing the build and design as well as hiring the staff for both OTTO enoteca pizzeria and The Spotted Pig alongside April Bloomfield.
